Mo is a wreck. She broke down in Ian's arms. Burying her face against his chest as she sobs uncontrollably. She has lost people. I couldn't care less.
I'm sorry she's sad.
However, I don't get it! Her sister used her mate as her s*x toy. And she's sad she's dead? Call me heartless, but hey, I just can't. I'm not even goin' to try.
Kai and his brother have shifted back. They are standing a bit from us, talking with low voices. His brother has a nasty gash on his right thigh. But other than that and his tear-streaked face, Kai's brother seems... Fine.
'Mo,' Ian coos. But he doens't continu. I can't imagine he's particularly upset about the outcome. But he's trying to comfort his mate. And I'll give him cred for that.
