CHAPTER SEVENTY-SIX

525 Words
"Hi, Selene Valak!" The person who had shoved the dirty clothes in her mouth said. "Oh, s**t! I forgot you can't talk, not with the cloth in your mouth. I would have really loved to have a conversation with you but I am sure if I take this out of your mouth, you will scream my head off." He said with a creepy smile. Selene did a clean sweep of her living room with her eyes. There were at least three people in the room with her, no, she could tell there were exactly three people in the room with her. Probably in the whole of the house too. "I am Jason," the dude with a creepy smile said as though conversations with someone pinned to the floor and gagged were completely normal for him. Selene rolled her eyes, if she could speak she would have told him how she truly felt. The cloth stuffed in her mouth was unnecessarily big and her mouth was hurting really badly. She could smell blood and she knew he had bruised her while trying to put the evil cloth in her mouth. She could taste it, it tasted worse than it smelt. She tried not to think about it but considering it was in her mouth that was definitely pretty hard. She was pissed, first a shitty night with a bunch of old ass vampires and now this. She could not comprehend who they were. She knew nobody in either of the clans would dare do this and since their supposed leader was human, it was safe to assume they were outsiders. The others were vampires without a doubt, their presence was unfamiliar and she knew she had probably never seen them before now. While their lead would have passed her several times at any point and she would be unaware. Except they did something that attracted her attention, humans pretty much felt the same to her. Vampires, however, were a completely different species. She could recognize every vampire she had met without ever seeing their faces. Each vampire's presence was unique. "It is really nice to finally meet you," Jason muttered and rubbed the side of her face. Selene shook her head away, he should try this when she was not bound by the rock that had most of his upper body on her and she would show Jason what it was like to taste blood. He smiled at her and the only thing she could think of was his mouth opened against a curb and she jamming her leg against the back of his head. She knew he would make a nice blood splatter. She would not drink his blood of course, not even if they paid her. All she needed was one look at him to know everything was wrong with him. He looked pretty normal but still, she could tell he was wrong in all the right places. "I am sorry our first official meeting is in such conditions but I do not expect that you would come with me willingly, so of course, these measures had to be taken. I apologize." Jason muttered.
