Kova took out his phone to dial her number for the umpteenth time since he woke up. It rang and she didn't pick up again but he was not giving up as usual and he called again, this time around it started to ring and then it went straight to voicemail without ringing for too long.
He frowned and tried again, this time it didn't even ring, it just took him straight to voicemail. "Hey, Selene. I'm so sorry but we need to talk. Could you pick up or at least call me back?" He ended it abruptly feeling utterly embarrassed.
