"What are we doing here?"
Jason held his hand to his head, he was trying not to lose his s**t. If it was not that Jason needed his help the blond blockhead seated beside him, Milo would not be here but even though Milo was an i***t, his strength was undeniable.
He was Jason's secret weapon, not to talk about his regenerative abilities even among vampires. Jason knew Milo definitely topped at least fifty percent of the vampires in the regeneration category.
Milo was not the smartest and his fighting skills were questionable but there was no denying his strength and the fact his brunt strength was more than enough. He just wished Milo was a little less dumb, it would make a lot of things easier. A pretty face with an empty skull was pretty hard on everyone.
Milo looked like someone straight out of a teenage magazine. His blond hair, blue eyes, and sparkling smile were something one saw in the movies. It didn't help that he had a great body to go with it. Well-fitted abs with muscular arms to go, he was every girl's dream boy, man, you name it, he fitted each role perfectly.
However, while he could have basic conversations one only needed a couple of minutes to discover he was a bimbo. Though Jason found Milo useful as he was great with following orders the only problem was getting him to understand the orders, sigh.
It was an excruciating task that Jason still didn't know if it was worth it but considering his cause, he knew he needed every manpower he could get and Milo was at least ten, who was he to say no even if it meant having stupid conversations. Jason could sometimes feel himself getting dumber.
"Milo, you know exactly where we are going," Jason muttered darkly, he was already edgy enough the last thing he wanted to do was answer obvious questions.
"I do?" Milo asked and stared into space. Jason had no intention of helping Milo, after all the longer Milo thought the longer the quiet would last. "Oh, yeah. We are going to her house."
"Exactly, good boy." Jason praised but even as he spoke, he braced himself for another stupid question when none came, he expelled his held breath. Even stupid Milo must know how important this mission was and there was absolutely no way they could fail.
He knew their ratio of success compared to failure was pretty high and unless something went wrong they would definitely be victorious in the end but even with the high chance of success, he could not risk sending his goons alone. This was something he had to do himself.
The last mission had been a complete bust and he was surprised she had let them go alive and was pretty glad he had chosen to send humans, he was sure that was the only reason she didn't kill them.
Luckily they had shot her which meant, she would be weaker than normal. Not that he could rely on that because she was royalty, her regenerative skills should be top-notch but he was certain, he had enough vampires and humans to take her down. This time, he intended to do it right.
