“What’s that supposed to mean?” Theodore asked, his eyes darting across his brothers with a disapproving look.
“It means,” Adrian began, “that we all agreed to keep some distance. To let things settle after her heat. And somehow you decided that agreement didn’t apply to you.”
“I didn’t decide anything.” Theodore’s jaw tightened. “She was worried about the club. I offered to show her it wasn’t what she thought. That’s it.”
