Love is not always at first sight

It was the long summer twilight on the beach. Sara wasn't known much for outdoor pastimes but came to this place to explore her soul. Joe was known for his outdoor activities and spent every evening on the beach. That one dusk changed both lives remarkably. Where Joe fell in love with Sara and Sara learnt to love herself. Sara was soaking her feet on the beach and played her favourite music in her mind. Joe was catching the fish and played with the children in the neighbourhood. There was a sudden outcry of a cute puppy who lost his track from his family. Joe and Sara both heard the outcry and came to reach the puppy. Before Joe, Sara reached the place and took the puppy in her hand and the puppy was shivering from the cold. so Sara wrapped the puppy with a towel and gave feed the puppy with milk. Sara saw Joe running towards her and thought that it was his puppy and angered by the irresponsibility towards his puppy and gave the silent treatment. Joe didn't understand anything but asked for an apology which he didn't do. Sara wasn't ready to give the puppy and hugged it for a while and suddenly tears rolled down from her eyes. Joe didn't understand what was going on and tried to calm her down with the help of his neighbourhood children which made her happy for the first time after a long time. Sara broke the silence and asked Joe about the puppy's name. Joe instantly gave the name for the puppy and called it a cupid. Cupid(puppy) got attached to Sara so much that it didn't leave her even for a second which melted Sara's heart ❤️ and made her love it back. It was almost night and Sara wanted to go back to her motel but she didn't like the idea of leaving the cupid behind her with Joe. She was shy and tried to ask Joe something. Joe realised it and told her to exchange the number with him and can come to meet cupid or he would take cupid whenever Sara want to meet cupid. It was the first time for her after a long time someone whom she trusted. They both walked on the beach before they said goodbye for the day. From Joe's perception: He saw an angel on the beach even in the dusk he could see her twinkling eyes. Her calm nature innocent smile who lost in her world. The puppy was not his and he didn't agree with the innocent Sara and lost in her eyes. When Sara asked its name He gave it a name Cupid because it spelt the love magic on him and brought him close to her and got a chance to meet her. Whenever Joe meets the eyes of Sara he fell in love with her. He would anything to spend the rest of his life with Sara. when Sara left the beech she stole Joe's heart. Joe lost his heart to Sara and was ready to explore it with her for the rest of their lives. The next morning Sara was ready to leave the Island but also wanted to meet the Cupid for one last time. She called Joe and requested him to bring Cupid near the beach Joe danced with joy. They met near the beach they talked for a while and played with cupid. It was almost late for her airport to go at the same time she didn't want to leave cupid so she hugged the cupid and cried like she lost her entire world. Joe didn't have any idea about what was happening and didn't know that Sara would leave them forever. Joe suddenly hugged cupid and Sara and kissed her tears with his lips and consolidate her that he and cupid would be with her. Sara started to cry hard because she couldn't tell them that she would be leaving them. Sara gave goodbye kiss to cupid and a warm hug to Joe. she turned back left the Island with tears and took the memory with her. Before Joe could realise Sara had left the Island. Joe came back to his presence and searched for Sara to give her his gift and propose her with the pearl ring but found her I'd on his way in the shoreline. Joe cried hard and hugged cupid and felt the pain in his heart. He thought that he would lose Sara forever but I'd had details about Sara which gave him the new hope.
