The Rogue Life

Coming out of the forest behind my house, i stop to listen for any sign of my Family being awake. Sneaking back into the house on a school day is always harder and like usual i lost track of time while i was training. Slowly creeping threw my bedroom window that i left a crack open i jump in only to find my sister sitting on my bed. She turns to and says " Where have you been this morning?" " Just doing my usual morning run." I put on a smile that doesn't quite reach my eyes. She rolls her eyes, "whatever, we are going to be late so hurry up." As usual she doesn't actually care about me. The only thing she cares about is not being late for school so she can see Cyrus the soon to be Alpha. She quickly leaves my room so i can get ready. I walk up to my closet and pull out my go to outfit for everyday life a Misfits band T-Shirt, some black ripped skinny jeans and my leather jacket. after getting dressed I look in the mirror and see my jet black hair all fizzy from the humidity outside so i decide to straighten it the best i can. I threw on some simple make up and took one last look at my self. One eye that is pale blue and another that is vibrant green, the colors against my pale complexion really stand out. Reminding me why i love the color black, unnoticeable just like me. " Blair! Hurry up we are leaving without you!" Emily yells from downstairs. I stop looking at myself in the mirror and walk downstairs to find my sister has already left. "Figures she just likes yelling at me.' I mumble to myself. Grabbing my bag and putting on my combat boots i start my journey to school. After about a 45 minute walk I finally get to school, seeing my brother Leo's midnight blue jaguar and my sisters red dodge Viper. Rolling my eyes and mumbling a quick " thanks" to my parents for getting both my siblings a vehicle but not myself one. Me and my sister might be twins but it's obvious who is liked better in my house. She the pretty girl, blond hair that comes down to her mid back, beautiful tanned skin bright blue eyes. Her wolf form is a light grey that everyone adores. Funny we both did our first switch the same night yet no one knows what my wolf looks like because everyone was watching there precious Emily's wolf. Then there's my brother Leo, sandy blond hair with dark blue eyes, every girl in our school hangs off of him almost as much as the guys hang off of Emily. They both got my parents looks, i'm not sure who's looks i got but from what i can tell maybe a very distance relative. Sighing I head toward the main door to school. Just as i get into the door i run into Cyrus the soon to be alpha, my sister (who is the next Luna) and my older brother Leo (the next Beta after my father Timber). "Watch it freak." Cyrus growls. Emily and Leo laugh. I just roll my eyes as I try to walk past the group. "Your a pathetic excuse for a Betas daughter." Leo says. It used to hurt when my older brother who once treated me like a sister says mean things but at this point I've gotten so used to the daggers they throw at me. "See Emily? She the perfect example of a Betas daughter, smart, beautiful and talented. Your just some freak who isn't good at anything." they laughed at what Cyrus said. I just keep walking. What a perfect match they are a jerk and a witch, i keep thinking to myself. "Today is already dragging on" i mumble to myself. That's when i deiced to just skip today. I walked threw the school to the door by the back field, scooping around to see if there are any teachers around. "Sweet the coast is clear" I think as i exit the doors and run across the field. Once I've reached the forest I slow a little so i don't trip on the forest floor. After going a good distance away from the school i strip my off my clothes and tuck them into a hollowed out tree trunk to hide them, then i shifted into my wolf form. My wolf howled in happiness of being let out again and i chuckle in my head at her. Then i started to run. I ran threw the trees jumping over fallen logs, chasing down small animals. It felt amazing, the wind flowing thru my fur, the wet soft ground under my paws. I was free and it was a beautiful feeling. After a few hours of running i walked up to a steam to get a quick drink and to relax. As i was drinking a smell of citrus, lavender and a faint mint hit me. It was intoxicating. I lifted my head find where the smell was coming from, and that's when i saw him. Beautiful golden eyes, and a pure silver coat. He was bigger than me by a good head. That's when my wolf yelled at me "Mate!". I was to shocked to move, he also looked shocked and it was cute to see. He seemed to shake out of it pretty quickly and slowly started to walk up to me. I'm not going to lie i panicked a little it but my wolf was urging me to go up to him. "He's our mate, go up to him" she was saying. With her helping my confidence i slowly walked closer to him, then when we reached each other he looked at me lovingly and i couldn't help but nuzzled into him. Man i tell you those sparks and tingles that are sent threw me from just touching him are indescribable. Then i heard some howling in the distance. He seemed to recognize who it was coming from , he gave me one last look of longing and then took off. "Go after him." My wolf whined. "I can't it's getting late, we'll be in trouble if i'm out to late" i said with a heavy sigh. Knowing the lecture that will happen if i'm out late one more time, and with one last look in the direction he ran i turned around to head back to where i hid my clothes.
