~Karen~ He should have been back by now. My eyes protested for the millionth time as I kept on pacing up and down the room after Theo left. It’s been almost one hour since then and he wasn’t back. Anyone would think that she would send him back, especially after everything the king had done to her. But that girl was far too stubborn for my liking. The sound of heavy footsteps stopped my pacing. I listened, and the footsteps were headed towards Theo’s room. “Finally,” I muttered, smiling slightly. I quickly made my way to the end of the room that was shrouded in darkness, and sat perfectly still, my nightgown draped loosely over my body. I heard the door click, and watched as Theo walked in, his shoulders sagged. He looked tired, and a bit down, more than he had looked before he left.
