Luke was responding to treatment faster than any of the student who were rushed into the hospital, the numbers of students being affected were twenty two, including one teacher. Among them Luke was the only one who seems to be getting better to the suprise of the doctors and parents whose kids were being brought into the hospital, and with Tana being completely immune, everyone wondered why? Why she was immune when everyone around her on that faithful day seems to be effected.
Tana had hurriedly left the hospital earlier when she sense the press were coming to ask her some questions since she was the only one not effected and one of the eye witness to the outbreak that befall the school. She wasn't ready for any press interrogation so she had left the hospital in a hurry. Unknowingly to her she was being followed by her best friends Lizzy and Beth.
She had drove towards narrow view lane before parking it Infront of a waterfront, she came out from her car after looking her left and her right had jumped into the river to the world beyond the sea.
Angry Tana was already fuming and pacing back and forth as her father tries to give her some comfort.
" Dad I don't understand, after everything I did for Luke he still have feelings for that nobody of a girl. I went to the hospital to heal him from his ailment caused by whatever I am trying so hard to understand, dad you wouldn't believe that girl fell to the ground and started singing and something strange happened, it was like a bad dream, but I couldn't remember what happened next."
"What are you talking about Tana? I guess you are reading too many novels. And what's with you and this girl that you hate her so much."
" Dad I don't just hate her, she disgust me, she is just too beautiful and brilliant as well, and she threatens me dad," the dad laughing so hard turned to look at his daughter, "what the hell is wrong with women, you hate each other for Petty reasons, how could you hate your fellow girl for being finer than you?"
" Dad you wouldn't understand, she is the most brilliant in school, she carries herself like some important personality, when she is just a nobody, daughter of a nobody."
" Tana you are beautiful, very beautiful, come on, have you looked yourself in the mirror, look at your green eyes, like the sea of Eden."
Tana gave out a fake smile as her Dad lavished her with praises.
Walking closer he held her by the shoulder, "one advice I will give you is, try not to make enemies on your way to finding love"
She paused a moment, giving a thought over what her dad just said. " Whatever Dad" she replied. As she sat on the sofa beside her.
Tana's Dad Mr. Brownson was one of the most influential business man in town with influx of businesses around the country. He was also a beauty to behold, he was in his late fifties but looks like someone in his late thirties. He has strong jawlines, chiseled cheekbones, full lips, and deep-set eyes, with dark brown hair and about 6.2 feet tall.
Tana took after her dad's height. She has a round face with pointed chin, Her blue eyes was uncommon among black people and made her stand out.
"Dad am not, I know what am talking about, there is something strange about that girl dad, something strange I still find it difficult to understand."
" Then I need to see her" the dad replies while walking away leaving her with her grandmother, who was watching her granddaughter and son keenly. She had just entered the room to meet her granddaughter and son arguing, this was something they often do and something Queen Belle finds offensive.
Queen Bella being the respected Queen of the narrow sea for decades. She was as tall as brownson, with a round face and deep greyish green eyes. She wore a long black gown with feathered neck which gives her the perfect look of a queen. Her long black gown poured on the floor hiding her red high heel sandal as she walked into the room. Tana bowed at seeing her grandmother.
"Your grace" she said, as she bowed. Queen Bella pat her by the shoulder as she hugged her, they haven't seen for about six month and Tana seems to have grown from the last time they met each other, Queen Bella aside being the Queen of the narrow was also the renowned owner of Standard high school Academy, aside the school she also owns Oil Zone Incorporated. A multinational oil company in Nigeria. Due to her busy schedule she barely have time for her granddaughter and they mostly see during holidays period.
"Whatever brought you to my court must be very important Tana, you barely come here, look at you all grown into a very beautiful woman at the space of six months since as I last saw you, now come here," she said beckoning on Tana. If only Tana had known her grandmother was at court, she wouldn't have dare come to the coast. Despite being her grandmother, most times her presence makes her feel tense. Tana followed her grandmother as she sat beside her on the throne.
