Chapter 15Selene looked up at the bright pink awning for the Damsels and Duchesses boutique. After she’d woken up this morning, and spotted the overcast skies coming in over the horizon, she’d changed her initial plans of wandering around the coastline on foot to a shopping spree. The gift card in her hand was for one hundred dollars—an expensive indulgence that she really needed to tell Eileen was too much—but she was also relieved.
