Chapter 16Selene was wearing bright pink when Gil arrived. She stepped out of Tilly’s house exactly one hour after she’d sent her last text and was so bombarded by the color she wondered if someone else had gotten a manatee mailbox, except made it into a beautiful mermaid in neon florescent pink.
Then Selene had turned and held up an additional pink shirt. She realized that one had SUN on it, while the other said MOON.
“You know, sort of like last night?”
Gil chuckled as she made her way down the rest of the walkway. She touched the edges of the shirt, pulled it out so she could truly read what was written.
