I take Annes hand, and I walk away from the courthouse, from my brother and from my ex-beloved. Anne helped to give me the courage to see what while Shirley and I may have been fated, she was not who I wanted to be with.
Anne is the woman for me, she is strong, independent and doesn’t take fools gladly. I just wish I had told her sooner how I felt, but I know that now is that time for me to do so.
I spent some of the evening with Brad, hashing out our plans to both be with Anne. At first Brad was against it, but after a while he came around when he realised that no matter what I will always fight for Anne and her heart.
