Jenna returned to the Defender without any problems, but she didn’t leave the shuttle. Not to begin with. There were things she wanted to put in place.
It took a little while but she managed to set up movement alerts which would trigger for anything other than her moving through the ship. She also made sure all the doors she didn’t expect to use were both locked down and set to alert if they were somehow opened. She didn’t intend to get ambushed again. Then she ran three different scans for anything lurking in the ship, and found nothing.
Finally convinced there was no immediate danger, she left the shuttle. Her first stop was the ship’s small armoury. She only took a pistol, but made sure it was one that packed a fair punch. It wouldn’t have been enough to deal with the robot
