Inside the house, Evelyn had just finished revealing the truth to Marcus and Kelly had come over to fight with them. Kelly said, “Mikhail, we do not have to put up any acts with her anymore. You do not have to worry, your company has a lot of potential and, with my father’s guidance, you will be at the top of your market.”

Evelyn smiled and said calmly, “Kelly, if you think he is so smart, then why did you let him get close to me? You could have brought him to your father from the very beginning or were you afraid that he would not approve of you getting cozy with nobody like him? Huh? I wonder if you are more ashamed of yourself or him.”

Kelly yelled, “What the hell do you mean by that, Evelyn? How dare you say that I am ashamed of Mikhail?”

Evelyn had always been calm and polite with the people around her, but since last night she seemed to have turned into a b***h that could set her soul on fire. Kelly leaned forward trying to rush and throw herself at Evelyn, but Mikhail grabbed her by the shoulder firmly and said, “You do not have to stoop down to her level.”

Evelyn chuckled and replied, “Yeah, unlike yours, that level is kneeling in the toilet cubicles.”

The servants in the house had all gathered and when they heard their young mistress bashing a homewrecker like this, they could not help but chuckle. Kelly was fuming in a rage about this, and she said, “You know what, b***h! I will have you and your father living in the streets. The Malcumm family will stop all cooperation with you and I will make sure you are left with nothing and die on the streets.”

Evelyn was surprised. She did not expect these people to escalate the conflict to this level. Her father’s company was going on steadily, but if entering a capital battle, it would be a disaster.

Suddenly, a maid said, “Sir, Mister Rafael Monarc is here to meet you.”

The people were confused, but before anyone could register what had happened, everyone saw a dashing young man walk inside the living room with an old man beside him. Evelyn was still sitting on the couch when she caught sight of him. The shock made her jump to her feet.

The young man was the same person whom she had gotten wild with last night. She started thinking, ‘Oh god, please do not tell me that he has come here for me. Please, not now.’

Kelly was stunned by the appearance of this man in the house. She used to think that Mikhail was a stud and that he was a superior male, but in comparison to the newcomer, he was completely lacking. Mikhail could not help but take a step back as Rafael passed by them.

Marcus stood up from his seat, his back was bowed forward a bit. Rafael did not even look at Evelyn, he stood five feet away from the father and daughter pair. Sebas spoke first, “Hello, President Stark, I am Sebas Knight, personal assistant to Mister Rafael Monarc, President of The Crescent Moon Group.”

As he finished speaking, Sebas took out a business card from the pocket of his coat and handed it to Marcus. The latter was surprised and accepted the card with both hands. The people in the room were shocked when they heard the name of the company, The Crescent Moon Group.

Kelly immediately took out her mobile and searched for information about the Crescent Moon Group and the president. She knew that the company was a big deal in the city, but when she saw that the company was valued to be worth tens of billions and that the president had assets even more than that.

Mikhail was displeased by this behavior of hers. He could not expect how his woman was looking at the other man with eyes brimming with desires. Kelly stepped up and asked, “President Monarc, what brings you here? Please have a seat. Why are you standing?”

Evelyn had a peculiar expression on her face, she did not know why this girl was acting like the host. However, before she could say anything, Rafael Monarc opened his mouth and said, “Noisy.”

Kelly was stunned, and Evelyn chuckled. Mikhail raised his brow and stepped forward as he said, “How dare you talk to my woman like that? Who do you think you are?”

Rafael turned around and replied calmly, “To think that even wannabes can pose like men these days is such a torture to my eyes. As for who I am, you do not deserve to know.”

His tone was calm, but his cold gaze made Mikhail shiver. Rafael snapped his finger and said, “Sebas, find out their details and I wish to see a report before me within an hour.”

The old man nodded and said, “I will get to it right away, Sir.”

Rafael then sat down on the couch and said, “Mr. Stark, please have a seat. We have a business to discuss.”

Marcus sat down and asked, “President Monarc, what can I do for you?”

Rafael smiled and spoke calmly, “My company wishes to merge or acquire a few venture capital companies. I have noticed that while your company is not a large association, it is very stable. I wonder what you think about the proposal?”

Marcus was stunned, he could not understand what was going on there, but he did not know that Rafael was only willing to cooperate with his company because of his daughter. Marcus calmed down and said, “Can I discuss this issue with my daughter and get back to you?”

Rafael nodded and said, “Your daughter, I have heard a great deal about her in the circle. I wonder if she will watch over the relationship.”

As he said this, he looked at the girl and Evelyn could swear that her heart skipped a beat when he said, ‘Relationship.’

Looking at his smile, she snapped, “What relationship!?”
