Chapter 1: A promise
As that night,
I hear the roars of the storm creating chaos outside, I was a timid child that held no strength in himself and I refuse to call my parents to my room though my body shivers from the rain and thunders, just because I wanna create a pride in my father in accepting that his little boy was not weak.
But my heart knew the danger has yet to occur as I had long felt the presence of another. It's neither my parents or the servants looming behind the curtain.
It's a strange man I have never met.
He was standing there till the rain cease to end, and now with the calmness and the moon striking through the window, I noticed him approaching me.
At that moment, my pretense has fallen and I screamed, hurling to my parents and the servants but he was quick to shut my mouth.
I saw him talking, I knew I was scared yet I didn't shiver nor cry, which I accept was not a normal thing to happen in such situation.
"Oh, my dear boy, you were meant for eternity. Be patient and I'll give you the gift you best deserve"
And then he disappeared, probably for eternity as a whimsical dream with a false promise.
