An Encounter with the Three Bullies
Daisy walked into the classroom, and instantly, all eyes turned to her. Some students stared with curiosity, others glanced at her and returned to what they were doing. A few whispered among themselves, and one girl even snorted, rolling her eyes dramatically.
Daisy's heart pounded. She hated this feeling—like she didn’t belong, like she was completely out of place. She kept her gaze down and quietly walked to the empty seat at the back of the room.
Soon after, the lecturer walked in.
“Good morning,” Mrs. Adriya said with a smile. “I hope you all finished your presentations.”
She glanced at her list. “Riya, you go first.”
One by one, the students presented their work. Daisy remained silent.
Finally, the lecturer pointed toward her.
---hey you in desk five! What's your name?" Daisy " she replied nervously. Daisy since you weren't in my class l let you off for today , but you have to present something in the next class" yes ma'am Daisy smiled. She got lucky, one of the students in the class muttered.. Daisy Smiled faded away.
After class Daisy packed her books found Isabell waiting for her at the door". As usual Isabell bought lunch for her again. She needed to find a job soon , she couldn't be a burden on her friend.
After they had lunch together, Daisy offered to return the empty plates to the counter.
As she walked past a group of students, her mind wandered. That was when it happened—
Bump!
She collided with someone, the tray slipping slightly from her hands.
“Oh! I’m so sorry!” Daisy quickly apologized, looking up.
The girl she had bumped into glared at her like she was something disgusting. She wore expensive designer clothes, her makeup flawless. She looked like the type who never heard the word “no.”
“Are you blind?” the girl snapped.
“I’m really sorry. It was a mistake,” Daisy said calmly, her voice low.
The girl’s eyes narrowed. “A mistake? Will your apology buy me a new outfit?” she sneered. “Ugh. You middle-class people always get on my nerves.”
Before Daisy could respond, the girl grabbed a cup of hot tea from the table beside her. With a wicked grin, she poured it all over Daisy’s dress.
“Now we’re even,” she hissed.
Daisy gasped as the hot liquid soaked into her clothes. The burn stung, but what hurt more was the humiliation. Students nearby gasped. Some laughed. No one stepped forward.
“Daisy!” Isabell rushed to her side, horrified. “Oh my God, are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” Daisy said quietly, though her eyes stung and her throat tightened.
“Come on, let’s get you cleaned up,” Isabell said, guiding her away.

Later, back in the dorm room, Daisy changed into fresh clothes. She sat on the edge of her bed, towel-drying her hair, her mind still spinning.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Isabell asked gently. Concern filled her voice.
Daisy forced a small smile. “Yeah. It’s nothing. I’m used to this kind of thing.”
Isabell sighed and sat beside her. “There’s something I need to tell you...”
Daisy turned to her. “What is it?”
Isabell hesitated, then dropped the bomb. “The girl you bumped into? That was Saira. The one I told you about—the leader of the bullies. The worst of them all.”
Daisy’s eyes widened. “Wait... that was her?”
Isabell nodded. “And now you’ve got her attention. Which means you might become her new target.”
Daisy groaned and buried her face in her hands. “Great. Just great. My day couldn’t get any worse.”
Saira’s POV
A few kilometers away from the hostel, in a dimly lit warehouse, a girl whimpered. Her face was swollen, her body trembling, bruises decorating her skin like cursed ink.
She lay on the cold floor, blood trickling from her nose, barely conscious. Her eyes, once bright, were now hollow—lifeless.
Saira stood above her, breathing heavily, her knuckles stained red.
“Tch,” she muttered, shaking her hand as if annoyed. “You broke too easily.”
Her minions, Campbell and Irana, stood a few feet away, arms crossed, smiles devilish and satisfied.
“She didn’t even last ten minutes,” Campbell said, laughing.
“Waste of space,” Irana added coldly.
Saira turned to the bodyguard standing at the door. “Get her out of here. I don’t want her stinking up the place.”
Without a word, the guard dragged the girl’s limp body away—toward the hospital. Whether she’d make it or not, no one cared.
A twisted grin spread across Saira’s face. She walked toward the sink, casually washing her hands like she hadn’t just brutalized someone.
“I think I’ve found a new toy,” she said, her eyes gleaming with sick amusement.
“A new prey,” she whispered to herself, almost in song. “And this one... will be much more fun.”

Back in the Dorm...
“Achoo! Achoo!” Daisy sneezed as she rubbed her nose.
“Someone’s missing you,” Isabell joked, laughing lightly.
But instead of smiling, Daisy stared blankly at the floor.
“I have no one,” she said quietly. “No one would miss me.”
Isabell’s laughter faded. Her heart ached for her friend.
“You have me,” she said softly, reaching out and placing a hand on Daisy’s arm.
