Chapter 12

Joe pov

They just got done eating pizza. Della took her meds. They were laying in his truck bed. She flipped over and rested her cast so gently on joes chest. Her head was on his shoulder. He went to adjust to make her more comfortable. She scooted closer and she put her leg over his. She was shaking.

“You cold?” He asked grabbing the Sherpa blanket he bought. He put it on them. She just scooted closer.

“Maybe a little.” She looked up at him. He started kissing her. Unfortunately she wasn’t going to remember any of this in the morning. She was going to be so mad at him. Oh well. Della’s pov

She woke up. Where was she? It was so bright? The sun was warm. She opened her eyes. She was outside… she was laying on someone. Joe. Oh he came over last night. He slightly kidnapped her. She went ahead and got comfortable. She fell asleep again.

Joe pov

Joe woke up. Della was still asleep on him. He grabbed his phone. He took a picture. This won’t be happening for a long time again. Well at least til her meds kicked in. She stirred. He stayed put. She looked up at him.

“No. You continue whatever you guys were doing. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.” Nick sounded more relaxed.

“Okay. I’ll probably be home…”

“Never.” Joe said over Della. Her and nick both laughed.

“Now that you have me not going to let me leave?” He moved her closer to him.

“I have some r rated plans for you.” He started kissing her.

“Eww. Gross.” Nick said and then hung up.

“Let’s get somewhere there’s a bathroom I really need to pee.” He didn’t think about that.

“I’m taking you home. Once you’re done I’m throwing you in my bed and ravaging you the way I want to.” Her stomach growled. He laughed. “I guess I’ll have to feed you first” she laughed.

“My stomach has been growling a lot more recently. I don’t know why.”

“Because it knows I make good food for you.” Probably not but it was a nice thought.

“Probably dreaming about your scrambled eggs.” He laughed.

“Hint received baby girl.” He pulled her close and kissed her. He released her and pulled his boxers and shorts up. Della found her leggings and put them on.

“No thong?” Joe smirked

“No idea where you threw it.” She got out of the truck bed. Her balance seems to be back. She hopped in. He drove over to his house. She walked up and went to his room for his bathroom. She probably doesn’t realize there’s multiple bathrooms. He’s not going to tell her. The more time in his room the better. He went ahead and started making breakfast. She came out and sat on his island. Gosh she was cute. He positioned himself between her legs.

“Although we need to get me home soon. I need a shower.”

“I’m never letting you go back to your brothers house.” Joe said and kissed her.

“You should. But I can probably have them bring over a duffle… or you can drop me off. Hang out with my brothers a little bit and then sneak into my room and help me in my shower.”

“Gosh yes.” He kissed her and then moved away. He finished the eggs and then dished them on plates. He gave her one. She grabbed him and kissed him. He can’t wait for this to be the rest of his life. With her. This right here is the perfect life for him.
