‘A boyfriend? Since when?’

Why was he acting all jealous?

‘Since a year ago.’

‘Do you love him?’

What?! He had no right to ask that!

‘It’s none of your business.’

She threw her phone on the bed it

vibrated. Ugh! She lifted it up.

‘I was thinking of renting a cabin and going away for the weekend. Just you and me.’

Cruz. Gosh yes that sounded amazing!

‘Yes! That sounds amazing!’

Now they will be alone and can do whatever they wanted. No distractions or interruptions.

‘Anything special happen?’

Just then another text showed up

‘You didn’t answer my question.’

Okay now she was going to ignore Joe. She silenced his messages.

She got off her bed and went over to her mirror. She put on the flannel and adjusted her top. To show off her boobs and bra and took a picture. She opened her messages and sent the picture.

‘Like what you see?’

She locked her phone. The door bell rang. Company was here.

‘Got to go friends are here. I love you.’

She put her phone on her nightstand determined to ignore all her problems for a few hours. Although Joe already ruined her birthday. His existence ruined any day. She walked down stairs. She put on a smile and as time went on she forgot all about Joe and the problems he was causing.

Joes pov

He was waiting for a reply from Della. She was making him anxious. Why? He doesn’t know. His phone vibrated. He opened it. There was a picture of Della.

‘Like what you see?’

God yes! She was gorgeous! The jeans hugged her hips perfectly. The v-neck. Low and showed off her boobs. The bra only enhanced them and made her cleavage hot! The boots were totally her personality. He couldn’t help but just stare at the picture. She looked amazing.

‘Got to go friends are here. I love you.’

Those were definitely not meant for him. The picture the other message. He didn’t say anything back. Let her live a little longer thinking she sent that to the right person. He couldn’t stop staring at the picture. Gosh she was gorgeous. He already got an invite from her brothers to her party.

‘Too late to rsvp?’

He sent to Jared. The least harsh of her brothers.

‘No man come on over!’

Joe got up and got dressed. He needed to make her head spin. He’s been lusting after her for 2 years. She will probably get mad that he’s literally lived right down the road from her. Less than a 7 minute car ride. He has watched her over the years. He would take his scope and then climb a tree so he can see into her bedroom. He knows about her boyfriend. He’s seen him. They were cute. He was determined not to have s*x with her. Joe got it. She was under age. Now she wasn’t. He already bought her present. Thinking of going to the party or not. He figured he could return it if he didn’t go. Or just keep it. It was her favorite perfume. Her grandpa bought her a bottle years ago. Since then the price has gone ridiculously high. She would never spend the money on it. Joe did. He loved the smell. It was intoxicating on her. He always had to fight and restrain himself whenever he smelled her. He bought two bottles. One to keep at his house to remind him of her. The other for her. He was about to head out the door when his phone rang. He answered. It was his mom not Della. Not what he wanted.

Della’s pov

Everyone had left. She was trying to help clean up the house. Her brothers wouldn’t let her. The doorbell rang. She guessed one of her friends forgot something. “I’ll get it!” She said.

“It’s probably for you anyway.” Nick said. She laughed as she walked to the door. He probably wasn’t wrong. She opened it and the laughter and smile faded quickly. There was no mistaking it. That was Joe. His 6 foot 8 inches frame. Muscles larger than she remembered. He now had a tattoo sleeve. But there were many things that were the same about it. His eyes were the same. So was his smell. His intoxicating smell. He smiled. Those perfect white teeth. Oh man she can get into some trouble with him. “Happy birthday beautiful.” His voice. So deep and so smooth. She felt herself get really aroused. She wanted to pounce on him. What?! Where did that come from?! He reached his hand out with her gift he got her. “I was going to try to make it to the party but something came up.” He said. She grabbed the gift bag.

“It’s okay. Want to come in? I’m sure my brothers would love to see you again.” She said. She moved out of the way and let him in. Gosh he fills a door frame. She couldn’t help but smell him. Why does he smell so good? He closed the door behind him.

“Joe! Long time no see!” Nick said. He walked up to Joe and hugged him.

“Hey!” Joe said. Della kind of left them to do their thing. Jared and Elton quickly showed up. Then Colton. The guys were distracted talking. She went back upstairs to her room. She put joes gift on her side table and grabbed her phone. She flipped her phone around. Apparently she had no messages from Cruz. Did she make a mistake? Sending him that? It wasn’t even about the picture. He would love the picture. It was probably the I love you part. They haven’t said it before. Joe got in her head and that’s why she said it. She will give him some time to respond. He could even be busy. His dad had a farm. Lots of work to do. She plopped down on her bed and exhaled. She kicked her boots off. There was a knock on her door. Go away! She wasn’t in the mood for people. She got up and opened her door. Nick. Oh thank God.

“Hey we got a mission we have to go.” Who’s we?

“Who is we?” She asked. Nick smirked.

“All 5 of us including Joe.” Oh thank God! He was leaving. She doesn’t know why he had the effects on her he did.

“Oh okay.” She said. She walked downstairs she hugged all her brothers. She liked to. It may be the last time she sees them. She felt bad not hugging Joe. So she went for it. Oh gosh. His body felt amazing. His arms wrapped around her making her feel comfortable and safe. “Good luck. Be safe out there.” She said as she released Joe. She already missed his body. What was she thinking?!

Joes pov

Della came downstairs to hug her brothers. She’s always done that. For as far back as Joe can remember. She liked to hug them in case it was the last one she would get from them. She ran out of brothers and it was just Joe left. He was thinking she wouldn’t do it but she did. She went for it. She hugged him. Joe was very aware of her body. Her perfect little body against his tall muscular frame. She released him. He didn’t want to. He wanted to kiss her and throw her against a wall and then take her to bed. “Good luck! Be safe out there.” She said. Her eyes were locked with joes. There’s no way she wasn’t talking about her brothers not just Joe. Jared went over and kissed her in the head. Breaking the trance he seemed to have on her.

“We will do the dishes for a month when we get back.” Jared said. Della now had to clean up her birthday mess.

“It’s okay I got it.” She said. They all left.

Della’s pov

All the men left the house. She could still smell Joe in the air. Gosh he smelt amazing. She started cleaning. Once everything was cleaned she went up and showered and then collapsed in her bed naked. No one was here to see her. Her phone vibrated.

‘Ready to go away for the weekend?’

Was she? He never replied to…. No! She didn’t send him the message or the picture! Who did she send them to?! She opened up joes messages and there it was! No! No! No! No! Her heart started beating fast. Is that why he showed up? She opened Cruz’s message again.

‘Yes! Can’t wait!’

‘Remember clothes are going to be optional.’

Della bit her lower lip. He had the same thought she had. Get away and finally do something about the s****l tension that was between them. She was going to miss it. She loved the tension. Gave her some kind of high.
