Serene's POV: The crew were surprised to say the least when I pulled Lexi aboard the ship behind me. It would seem another woman was the last thing they expected me to return with. I didn't want to disclose too much to the crew too soon, I wanted to see if Lexi knew how to control her gift and if she knew where we were headed next. I was becoming restless again, needing to overcome my next obstacle. This was not a feeling I was used to. Maybe it was being away from the captain, my soulmate.
