Skyler’s POV
The 10 days until the full moon had passed. Saga and I used every opportunity to practice shift. She didn’t lie when she said it would hurt, every shift was excruciating. But we did get faster, much faster so the pain didn’t last long. I also wasn’t as exhausted after. The pain did a number of my energy levels however I started getting used to it.
I was also lucky that I didn’t have as many unwelcome visitors. The man, Travis, who dropped my food tray has continued to do that ever since then. He always dropped off two trays a day at the same time every day. This helped with when I should shift. I also noticed he’s been lingering a little more with each visit.
