Chapter 23 The rest of the weekend passed uneventfully, and before she knew it, Paige was packing her things up to return to Skipton Station. She heard about Mr. Winders’s actions from several sources, and she was eager to see her sister face to face. But part of her was fighting the return to town. She enjoyed her time at the lake house and wasn’t ready for it to end. Because of this, she didn't leave until the last minute.
