Chapter XXVI
In my life, all I really wanted to do is to fight with it, forwardly. Kahit kailan ayokong bumabalik sa nakaraan. Aside from the fact that I don’t want to recall the history of my parents, ayokong maging negative sa buhay.
I started walking freely when I let go of my past. At yan ang gusto kong ipakita sa lahat, lalo na kay Kakay. She can’t lean always on the past. She can’t be stuck on it. She should think and live herself on the present minding her future- not her past. Especially when her past doesn’t even give her enough reason to fight for the tomorrow.
“Rayl was announced missing on our Graduation day, sa mismong gabi nun. I don’t know kung bakit yun nangyari pero bigla na lang siyang nawala. After a week, we found him.”
I looked at Ziyang while sipping my coffee.
