Seventeen Years Ago
Alpha Sean Campbell of the Midnight Pack was ruthless, he was brutal and he was unforgiving. There were rumors that he had no destined mate because he was not worthy to have one. He had taken a chosen mate twice but neither marriage had produced an heir. He believed that only pureblood Alpha werewolves were worthy of being Alphas. His beta Robert, was the opposite of Sean. He knew that by staying in this pack he could tame Sean... or so he thought.  Midnight pack was located in Washington State, disguised as a gated community, he had more than four hundred pack members. Omega men were trained as fighters at an early age. Omega women were taught about home skills and were not allowed to train. Sean didn't believe Omegas were worthy; he deemed them disposable. His reign of terror started three years ago. Sean had heard about a powerful dark witch that had been recently ridiculed by her coven. Her name was Helena, and she had been on her own for a couple of months now. Sean traveled down South to know more about her. He had promised her a home if she joined him in taking over. She was skeptical at first; she didn't know him yet a handsome young man had just promised her a home. A place where she would belong. He had also promised her revenge on her old coven. At the last promise, she gladly accepted his offer.  Sean then had a meeting between pureblood Alpha's where all but two alpha's declined his alliance. Alpha Tomas Ortiz of the Rio Azul Pack, and Alpha Mathis Franz of the Canadian Shield Pack. Tomas' pack was located in Northern Mexico and Mathis' pack was located in Canada.  It was Helena's idea to use more dark-magic witches to help them take over packs. They promised the witches no repercussions when using dark magic. Then the ancient vampires also wanted a deal. They pledged allegiance to Sean and the other alphas so that they could rule over vampires again.  In over three years, Sean and Mathis had slaughtered packs and taken in their members. Those that submitted to them were spared and forced to work for the trio. Helena, the most powerful dark-magic witch had helped the trio escape assassination attempts and any other injuries. She stayed by Sean's side at all times.  Meanwhile in Jalisco Mexico, a small town witch named Juana had made the prophecy. "Five sets of twins born to five alphas will be powerful enough to stop the three. Born in the very country he sought to control, his fall will be at their hands. Chosen by the Moon-Goddess herself, the twins will set balance to the super natural world. These twins will be of pureblood Alpha parents and be destined for good. These five sets of twins will be born before the year ends".  The witch Juana had spoken about the prophecy to her coven of witches and swore them to secrecy. All agreed to hide this information. What they didn't expect is that a double-agent for Helena was amongst them. For months, none of the witches had spoken about the prophecy. Juana had relocated and found herself living deep in a forest. Nobody knew why she had left but everyone speculated that it had to be a dangerous reason if she left urgently. Helena was informed about the prophecy and Juana going missing, she had asked Sean for permission to leave. She disguised herself as a beautiful but helpless woman and set on her journey.  She arrived in Jalisco and asked around for spiritual help. No one wanted to help, everyone was beginning to distrust each other. Especially strangers, no one wanted to help someone they didn't know or hadn't seen before. Helena had grown desperate until she found a drunk man by the local bar. She flirted with him until he told her about Rosita. Having no use for the man, she used magic to murder him and make it look like an accident. Having the information on Rosita, she arrived at a small cottage near Los Corrales.  Helena knocked and a small woman slightly opened the door. "I cannot help you woman" Rosita claimed. She tried to push the door closed but Helena caught the door.  "Please. My mom is sick and needs help. Please! I cannot lose her" Helena said shedding real tears. As Rosita opened the door, Helena stepped in and felt the rush of light magic around. This was causing her immediate pain in her stomach but she disguised it with her tears and cries. "What is wrong-" Rosita had been caught off guard. She was blasted with a curse that knocked her across the room. She tried to get up but Helena casted another curse which made Rosita thrash violently. Rosita's cries and screams were muffled by Helena's silencing-walls spell.  "I believe you know the real reason Juana left" Helena said as she took off her disguise. Rosita was on the ground, crying in pain. She looked up to see Helena. Her eyes immediately got big, and she tried to crawl across the room. Helena then levitated her off the ground. It was now visible that Rosita had a broken arm and leg.  "Just kill me. I won't tell you anything anyways" Rosita cried. She had blood coming from her nose and mouth.  Helena laughed "Oh I will but first, you'll tell me about Juana".  THREE DAYS LATER "THE PROPHECY LIES" Sean screamed. He was panting in anger. Helena had told Sean about prophecy and everything that happened in Mexico. She was trying to hold him but he kept pushing her away.  "The witch Rosita told me herself" Helena assured Sean. He kept pacing around the room, trying to think of his next move. "I must call Tomas and Mathias" Sean hurried to dial the others and plan their next move. Helena placed her hand on his shoulder and he shrugged her off. "Get the witches ready" Sean said dismissing her. In the following weeks, Sean had sent a memo that all Alphas must report if their wives were expecting a child, twins to be specific. Everyone suspected that he was plotting to do something malicious to the unborn children. Each expecting parent had to submit doctor signed documents that stated how many children they were expecting.  Rumors had begun to swirl surrounding the need for these unborn children. This worried five alphas, and they were prepared to fight Sean and his army. Two alphas had refused to give into Sean any longer thus refusing to give him this information. However, Sean realized that these seven alphas had refused to hand in these documents. He then personally demanded to know who would have twins but all alphas swore that their unborn was a single child. Enraged by this, he ordered the m******e of all seven packs.   *Unknown P.O.V* "Should anything happen to us, please take care of Leah Celeste and Josiah Andrew. They need to be safe. Please do this for me. Keep them safe. Please".  SEVENTEEN YEARS LATER
