Antonio: coming into it

PART ONE I loved feeling the wind in my fur. The dirt under my paws I stood on top of the mountain. This is my favorite place, looking over my pack. You could see the packhouse and all the pack members' houses as well. My name is Antonio, my 18th birthday is in 2 weeks. Then there are my brothers the first set of twins Benji and Braxton who are 16. the next set would be Colton and Connor who are 15. Last but not least would be Damon who is 14. Everyone called us the Santori boys. My parents Felix and Azria were pretty busy when they first met. My father wanted to hand down the pack to me by the time I turned 21 so it gave me time to find my mate. I Loved my pack the Blood River Pack. As I was thinking, a voice came into my head. {where are you my son?} my father said. I looked around and realized it was late. {sorry dad I'm on my way home }. My parents were worried about any of us being out late especially with the rogue problems that were going on. Blood river hasn't seen this large number of activity from rogues at least in a decade. I ran as fast as I could to our packhouse. Once I saw the break in the trees I shifted back to my human self. I went to the secret tree with the shorts and grabbed a pair. My mother was waiting for me at the back door. "welcome home son" my mother starred daggers at me. When I got into the house I went straight to my room. The way my mother almost killed me with her looks I better get to my room to sleep. **** "ANTONIO WAKE UP !! " Benji shook me awake. I could hear growling outside. "come on we need to get to the safe room mama is already there helping everyone else." Benji pleaded. I got up and rushed out the door holding Benjis' hand. we made it in time to the pack safe room. I helped the warrior shut the door and looked for my mother. I could hear her giving out orders. our pack room was more like an underground house, all one level and there were two other ways to get into the safe room. I rushed to my mother and asked her about the other doors. "your brothers made sure they're locked. everyone who isn't fighting is safe. "mama tell me what happened ?" . she looked behind then gestured to follow her. we went into a makeshift office. My mother started talking as soon as the door closed. " We've been attacked by a pack of rogues on the east side. They are as strong as we are so this isn't going to be pretty. I need you to be ready that your father isn't going to make it ." she said with unshed tears in her eyes. I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose. I couldn't lose my father he was my idol, but my mother could be strong right now then so would I for my pack. The walls shake and the faint sound of a growl. It must have been my father. he sounded like he was ready to kill everyone. I searched for my mother I couldn't find her anywhere. I use my werewolf speed to get to the back door. I saw her there trying to push the door open. Braxton grabbed her around and pulled her back. she kicked and screamed scratching his face but he wouldn't go. "mother please stop!!! Damon begged "Father wouldn't want you out there. he would never forgive us if you got hurt ." she finally stopped looked defeated, breathing heavy, and curled into Braxton. what felt like several hours but was only 1 hr. Someone opened the back door. When it was open all you could smell was death. we heard the heavy footsteps coming closer to us my brothers and I got in a fighting stance. only to be met with familiar eyes. My father looked at us. Searching thru the crowd for my mother, he didn't even get time to spot her before she had jumped over us into his arms. It didn't matter that he had blood all over him she was so happy to see him. That was true love and I couldn't wait to have that.
