“Will we have any warning they’re about to change the guards?” Meikah wasn’t sure any of the plan would work. It all seemed vague and not well thought out.
“We can keep watch and move the moment they begin the process,” Kellan suggested.
“Surely you don’t both need to go,” Isha said. “Meikah could wait here with us.”
“It might be harder to keep two of us hidden,” Kellan said. “But having two of us searching Hincke’s building will give us a greater chance of discovering what they’re up to in the short time we’ll have to search the place.”
“Take your time,” Maksim said. “Don’t rush anything. If you don’t manage to get into Hincke’s place at the second change of guards, return to your hiding place behind the stable.”
