I immediately tried to stand up from the bed and miraculously I can stand up well. Maylene went toward me to help me walk but I shook my head to make her know that I don't need her help. She took a step back and stared at me for a second then sighed after that.
She didn't talk anymore and started walking that is why I began to follow in her footsteps.
That is when I noticed that I had no trouble walking.
I slept last night thinking that it will take days for me to properly walk after lying for so long but… I can already walk.
“I can properly walk now,” I said in a daze.
“What?” She asked in disbelief as she glanced behind her back in my direction.
