The Message
The message sat in her email like a ticking bomb. ``Meet me in my office during the following brake please.``- Professor Lemonford. Reading the notification right in the middle of her Calculuse class gave her a nervous feeling, which filled her whole body. She could only imagine what trouble she was in now. Failing her biology class was not something she anticipated however no matter how much she studied, it just didnt seem to stick. Calculus was passing slower than usual. Amali was a smart student however biology was just one of thous things she could not grasp. If she did not get her grades up this semester she would have to write a classification test at the end of the year. She counted, one……two…three….four….until the bell finally rang, like a blessing from the mighty above. She hurriedly stood up, pack up her things and bolted out of the classroom. Running down the hall like a maniac, Amali finally appeared at Lemonfords office. She waited for about two minutes, getting herself together before deciding to knock on the door. Knock, knock, knock filled the empty upper floor hall filled with offices. After a long minuted the door creecked open and a handsome voice invited her inside. ``Sit.``said the handsome voice, as mister Lemonford pulled out a smaller chair for her to sit on. She sat down, trembling slightly, however tried to act as if nothing was wrong. ``May i ask why you summoned me here, sir?´´Asked the student while fiddling with her fingers. `´aright, yes, lets get into it. Your grades are not looking too good Amali. I believe you have so much more potential than you let on. What could i do to help you out, i believe you could be passing with flying colors if you tried.´´ Thinking what to respond she reluctantly answered : ´´But i am trying, however no matter how much i do it just doesnt seem to be working. I study all nigh and day yet the outcome is always the same.´´ The professor just gave her a slight smile and suggested he tutor her a couple times, that maybe that way she will understand the material better. Amali left the office worried that day. She was starting to imagine how she will fail the class, and flunk out of school. She was worried what her parents might say. Filled with worries she got on to her way home. Once she reached her room, she tossed her filled, heavy bag on the floor and collapse straight into bed, letting out a muffeled scream. Amali was a senior in Highschool however she was already 19. Not only did she feel like a major disappointment but her mind was constantly running around telling her she is too old for her grade anyway. It wasnt her fault her years werent adding up when she started school. Amali pulled out her books and dove into the study of macromolecules. She stayed up until nine however her mind kept drifting away to yet unexplored places. But the way he smiled……No. The way he pulled out that chair……No. Maybe…….No. She could not let her fantasies carry her away right when she is trying to save her ass from failing. But what if theres something else to be done……No. Out of all times not now, could she let herself imagine screwing such a fine professor. She never did anything like that, she just wasnt that type of girl to do so. She only cared about her boyfriend, never even looked at another guy. This was all so unfamiliar to her.
