Lola quickly pulled out her phone and called an ambulance which thankfully got there about twenty minutes after the call. They took Elizabeth on a stretcher and drove her to the hospital, with Lola accompanying her…
‘I can’t believe this woman… Did she really overwork herself to the point of fainting out of exhaustion?’ Lola wondered to herself as she waited for the Doctor to come out and tell her what he found after examining the woman.
“You may come inside… Are you a family member?” The Doctor asked as he walked back in the room with the assistant.
“No, we work together… She fainted out of nowhere today…” Lola explained, she’d already spoken to the nurses about that already but she mentioned it again offhandedly.
