Taylor Taylor cut her batons of honey-roasted carrots into smaller pieces in an attempt to slow herself down so she didn"t scoff it all down "like a peasant" as her mother would put it. Dinner with her parents was a slow, torturous affair but she knew there was no escaping it. "Don"t forget that the charity gala is next week," her mother reminded her from the other end of the long table.
