  Jessica   The party has officially begun at our house, and the hallway is filled with shoes, jackets, and bags of booze. People are shouting at the top of their lungs in the living room, and there are empty red plastic cups scattered all over the floor. It’s not exactly a very nice sight.   “Excuse me, excuse me,” I say as I make it through the crowd in the kitchen. I’m dying for a drink because being around this many people is nerve-wracking for me. I would love to lock myself up in my room, but I promised Sydney that I would give this a try.
