Everything seemed to move as if in slow motion, but Tammy knew it happened in mere seconds. That meant she needed to make a decision in that very short moment.
She didn’t regret going to Sean. She knew she had been walking into a trap. But her gut instinct told her she would be fine. Even now, when he had pushed her off the cliff, she knew, deep down, she would be fine.
She grabbed Sean on her way down. He toppled over the edge and dropped his gun. He grabbed her foot.
She gripped the edge of the rock, her body suspended by the tips of her fingers.
Sean's hold on her foot added to the weight.
She saw Ciaran running toward her. The force of his movement and the determination on his face made it all worth it.
