I sighed, running a hand through my hair as I reached for the communication crystal.
This realm definitely needs an update. I have no idea how I will get electricity or internet here, but I will find a way. We can't keep living in the 15th century.
I had to use a crystal and my magic to be able to talk to Ignis, the Fire Faction's leader. I did as Eryndor suggested, and soon, I felt the connection snap into place.
He had been the only one to tell me I needed to prove myself when I took the throne, but I found it amusing. He tried to challenge me, and with each challenge he threw my way, I showed him I was the right person to rule.
