ife with the Cain’s was defiantly entertaining to say the least. I watched as Nova battled her indignation inside her head before she took a deep breath. She nodded her head and they headed out the door. I looked over at Davina and raised my eyes.
“If your brother comes home tonight I will beat him to death.” Davina said when she looked over at Jake.
“Noted. I’ll make sure to pass the message along.” Jake responded.
Davina rolled her eyes and headed towards the stairs. Kent grabbed his keys and picked his phone up.
“If she asked where I went tell her I’m going to check things out.” Kent said over his shoulder as he headed out the door.
