Evelyn’s POV "I would be waiting in the car," I called out in a bit to distract him from his mission. Guess what? it worked. He stopped midway and turned back towards the car, his eyes pinned on me. I fought every urge against smiling. "Let's go," he opened the front door stepping into the drivers seat. I followed suit, taking my position at the passenger seat. Finally out of his view, I gave a smile of satisfaction. That was close anyways. "Why are you smiling?" He asked, I figure he'd seen me from the review mirror. "Can't a girl just be happy?"
