Lucan's pov
Getting to my mate's room, I found only her maid there. I entered the closet while her maid trailed behind.
"Where's she?!" My voice came like thunder, and she trembled. The next thing, she fell to her knees.
"Your Highness, she went with Jerry and the other guards you assigned to her," she cried.
My heart tumbled. Where could they be? Where could they have gone?!
Rucker said the rogues are all over the woods... Could they have gone there??
"Did they go to the woods?" I asked, and just as she was about to answer—
Jerry and the other guards entered, and my heart dropped when I didn’t see her.
"Where is she?!" The rest of the guards fell down with Jerry, their heads low.

"I’ll ask again—WHERE IS SHE?!!!"
