THOUGHTS OF YOU EXCITES ME

Chapter 12 Bianca's pov "What do we do?! Shirley, it's looking at us... it's coming over!!!" We trembled. She turned back—and another rogue wolf, even larger than the first, stood mightily, with blood trickling from its hand. Evidence that it had just torn apart a wolf’s heart. "Where’s Ric and Jerry?!" "Why can’t they find us?!" "Omega?...," I heard from the first rogue we saw. "So confident of you, running in the woods—such a death wish," the huge one added, and we heard a crack from the other. It rushed toward us, and my wolf did the first safety technique—dodging. She dodged, and the rogue crashed into the huge one. They both tumbled and fell. The sight was thrilling... very exciting, but that wasn’t the right time to engage in a fun game... it was time to run. Run for our lives... and just like that, Shirley boosted off. I heard them laugh and start running after us. Shirley ran—faster than she ever had before—but it seemed as though she wasn’t running fast enough. They caught up with us, and the lean one threw a stick. It hit Shirley’s leg and caused us to fall. Unable to stand, the huge rogue picked us up from the ground as if we weighed nothing. He attempted to throw us away, but Shirley did the unexpected—she bit into his hand. He dropped us with a deafening scream. He looked at us with fury, his eyes bloodshot. He didn’t attempt to come for us again. Instead, his burning gaze hooked on us as if weighing how best to devour us. From the corner, the other rogue came to attack, but Shirley outsmarted him. She jumped up and crashed into him. He landed on the ground with her on top. Her hand grazed his chest, leaving savage wounds. He groaned, struggling to stand. The force of the hit had done him real damage. I was tempted to clap for Shirley. My little weak omega wolf—she’s not only beautiful, she’s strong... very strong. "Urgghhh..." We totally forgot the other rogue... We are done for. Slowly, Shirley turned to him. Seeing him would determine our fate. We saw the huge body of the rogue, slain on the forest ground. We looked up slowly—and there he was. A colossal figure, huge and towering, gazed down at us. The exciting part was the attraction. The beauty of the lycan was captivating. I was tempted to run into his arms for protection. His eyes, glistening like fire, began to return to their normal golden color. I felt Shirley shifting, and just like that, I returned to my human form and looked at the king—already shifted. When?! His look was domineering and distant, as though he were fighting something. I looked at him and whispered, "Mate...", hoping he didn’t hear. How could I stop this irresistible attraction that keeps pulling me to him, making me want nothing more than to be in his arms forever? I looked into his eyes and saw something flash. Pity? Desire? I can’t tell, but it didn’t last half a second. Still, I definitely saw it. He took a few steps toward us, and before I could say anything, he had me in his arms—his glorious hands circling us in a bridal style. He started walking down the route I came from. I wondered where the beta and Jerry might have gone. Maybe Shirley ran too fast and they lost track of us. I shifted comfortably in the king’s arms—his huge hand serving as both bed and pillow. A real definition of a comfort zone. I tried to peek into his eyes, but his eyes caught mine. Had he been staring at me all this while? I was supposed to look away, but I couldn’t. Instead, I felt the urge to caress his face—to lock eyes and let the world stand still for us. To get into his skin and be sure that his body was on fire, just like mine right now. I looked at his lips—so unfairly perfect. Beautifully curved in the best way... for kissing. Just me. Only me. Just the thought of his lips on mine turned me entirely to jelly, and I wished, just then, that we could find somewhere... just somewhere, and— "Oh goodness, here you are," I heard Jerry’s voice. I quickly turned my eyes away from the king’s face, my thoughts turning into vivid imagination. I looked at Jerry, his hand on his knee, as though he’d run miles just to find me. The beta stood beside him, his face expressionless, but I could feel the heat of fury radiating off him. Could it be because of me? Or... the king? I turned to look at the lycan, who made no attempt to put me down. His eyes were fixed on his beta, who bowed immediately under the weight of the king’s stare—even Jerry. I just felt the urge to touch the king’s heart to calm him, but I fought it. My mind drifted to the conversation I had with the beta before coming to the mountain. Could the king be what the beta truly said? Or was that sly wolf just trying to paint him badly so I’d hate him? If it’s the latter, then he’s chosen the wrong person. "We’ll be in the castle," I heard the king say, his eyes still on his beta, giving off hidden meaning. Then he strolled away. --- Lucan's pov I hate to admit it. I hate to even think it. But she’s hooked me. I could actually reject her here, but the train of her thoughts... it’s causing my erection to throb beneath my coat. She’s supposed to know how to think, because it's definitely messing with me in every way. Her beautiful heart travels miles, wondering where to settle. Seeing her attempt to fight those rogues intrigued me. It made me see her in a different shade. I just inwardly proclaimed her Luna. The power she gave off surprised me—but it excited me as well. Maybe she could be the best thing the Moon Goddess ever did for me. I saw her as a weak omega—my reason to reject her. But she keeps surprising me... giving me reasons to rethink. To rethink... just for her. Getting to my chamber, I placed her on my bed and watched her sleep peacefully. Was my hand that comfortable that she fell asleep even before we reached the palace? I decided to take a stroll over her features. From her beautiful lids that shut her eyes, to her not-so-pointed but attractive nose. I traced my hand along her lips. The power of a Luna is definitely doing things to her. Maybe?... Maybe not?... But again—she's got power, energy, and it seems... extraordinary. The seer should get here fast. I want to know what power she possesses and why the Moon Goddess would choose her—a weak omega—for me, a Lycan king.
