Next to her she placed a sturdy, tall, rectangular wicker box, which was surprisingly deep. Caius followed her into the cell and placed a bag of flour next to Winnifred, before returning to the door to monitor any movement in the corridor. Distracting herself from the raw pain in the expression of her dearest friends, she opened the basket lid. Methodically, she pulled out two rectangular lids and lay them down on the bed next to the new parents.
