August walked with purpose down the hall following behind Charlie. The shifter was in really good health for having his ass kicked earlier. Lucifer was close by and she glanced back at him. The power he had gifted her was still burning strong in her the intensity of it almost hurt actually. It was unlike anything she had experienced before, and this was but a taste? What would all of it feel like? Would she be able to handle it or would she burn by trying?
He smirked. “You can experience it all whenever you wish. Once we become one your power will be unfathomable. You’ll be able to do anything you’ve ever wanted. I can even stop time whenever you’re ready and we can start. Wouldn’t you rather have full power before you go save this friend of yours?” He rolled his eyes.
