Amelia Smith's sanity was fading away with the scorching heat. The heavy weight on her body was taking away her breath. She wanted to push it away, but she couldn't. The temperature on her body was getting higher and higher, like she was in a steamer. She twisted anxiously, trying to find a comfortable position. Suddenly, a feeling of tearing apart spread all over her body, and her body seemed to be penetrated. “Ouch..” Amelia sat up suddenly, one leg slipping down the sofa. She was pale, with beads of sweat on her forehead. The book in her hand fell aside. She took a deep breath, her chest heaving. There was only the sound of the clock, tic-toking, in the empty living room, making her shudder. This dream again. It has been two months. She has been repeating this nightmare every day since that incident. After a while, she tried to calm her mind, put on her coat, picked up her bag and left the room. The huge villa has no one but her on the second floor. The servants didn't seem to see her. They were busy with their work. Amelia glanced at the splendid living room. She was already used to it.  The fact that: nothing here belonged to her, except her own body. Seeing Ivy Smith walking towards her, Amelia's heart felt warm a little bit. At least there was someone else who really cared about her; otherwise, she had no reason to stay here any longer. "Amy, you back?" Ivy was wearing a fiery red coat. Her brown curly hair brought out the luring vibe. Seeing Amelia, she raised her eyebrows and said with her red lips, "Are you still going out on such a cold day?" "I wasn't feeling very well a few days ago. I went to the hospital for an examination. I'm going there today to..." "Get your pregnancy test result?" Before Amelia could finish, Ivy cut her off. Her tone was full of tease. "Ivy, stop joking about me!" Ivy is Amelia's half-sister. But the two of them were like real sisters. She thought Ivy was joking with herself. But the next second, her smile froze on her face. Ivy's hand was holding a medical report, with the name Amelia written on it. "Ivy, What are you doing?" "What? Don’t you recognize your own pregnancy test? Isn't this what you are going to get in the hospital later?" Amelia frowned. She was a little annoyed with Ivy's joke but quickly regained her smile, "You are so nice. Thank you for helping me get the BODY CHECK report back in such a cold weather." "Ame, when are you going to stop pretending? This is obviously a PREGNANCY test result." Ivy chuckled, "Woo, my dear sister, when did you have William's child? Why didn't you tell us such a piece of great news? " "Don't make any trouble, Ivy. I'm really going to be mad at you." "Ame, what's the matter with you? Isn't it delightful to be pregnant? Or..." Ivy suddenly covered her mouth and asked in surprise, "could it be that….the child doesn't belong William?" "What are you talking about? How could I possibly be pregnant?" Amelia's voice trembled as she said the last word. A sense of worry rose in her mind. Impossible!? Seeing this, Ivy leaned forward and jokingly said, "Don’t you remember that night? You were so enjoying it… with that guy…" Amelia was stunned and took a step back subconsciously. She looked in horror at Ivy, who was smiling like a devil in front of her. I never told anyone about this. Why does she know about it? "You must be wondering why I know about it, right?" Ivy smiled.  "Well, dear sister, all of this was arranged by me. Only you were lucky enough that day to enter another guy's room instead of the one I planed. The reporters didn’t get to take a good shot of you cheating. You would have been ruined otherwise. But, God helped me. You are actually pregnant. Amelia, you gave me a big surprise." "Why are you doing this? I thought we were sisters." Amelia trembled slightly, her throat dry. She felt her mind was going blank. "Sisters? Bah! You're a bastard, daughter of a w***e! How dare you to call yourself my sister? And you, you stole William from me! Do you really think William likes you? He just pities you!" "Shut up! Shut your damn month. Leave my mother out ot this!" Amy was okay with Ivy saying filthy things, but she couldn’t stand the slandering to her mother. Her mother raised Amelia all by herself. Her mother died of illness. She spent too much effort in raising Amelia. Ivy was hurt by her tugging and was about to push her away. But when she saw William Johnson behind her, Ivy immediately changed her attitude, "Ame, please don't hit me. I won't say it to others. Ah!" Before Amelia could understand what was going on, she saw Ivy wailing and sitting on the ground. The pregnancy test result scattered all over the place. She looked like Amelia was bullying her. "Amelia, what are you doing?" Amelia was about to step forward but was stopped by the person behind her. She looked at the person in front of her in surprise: "William." "William, please don't blame Amelia. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have taken the pregnancy report for her." Amelia opened her mouth, but before she could speak, Ivy interrupted. While talking, Ivy went to pick up the report, deliberately revealing the pregnancy test result to William. "What’s this?" "Nothing, William." William snatched the report from Ivy and saw that it read: [Positive (Pregnant)]. His hand grasped the paper a little harder. "William, maybe it was a wrong result…Amelia is impossible to get pregnant, right? The hospital must have…" "Ivy!" With a gloomy face, William interrupted Ivy, stood up, looked at Amelia with a terrifying face, and sneered, "What is this?" "William, listen. It's not what you think it is." "Is this yours?" William interrupted sharply, "I am asking you, is this yours!?" Amelia looked at him in confusion. She bit her lip and nodded, then shook her head again, "It's not like that, William. Ivy was framing me." "Enough! Shut up, Ivy is your sister!" William put Ivy behind him, "I thought you were pitiful and didn't want to hurt you. I didn't expect you to be so shameless! Then I might as well tell you. Ivy should be my wife!" "William…" "Ivy, don't try to fend for her." Amelia looked at the two people snuggling in front of her, shocked, “William..” "Ivy was afraid that you would be sad. She told me to hide it from you. We never expected you would do such a shameless thing!" Shameless. The man who said that he would love her with his life, hooked up with her sister, and now called her shameless. And her own sister drugged her and sent her to some random guy’s bed. I am the biggest joke in the world. I shouldn't have stayed here 15 years ago! Amelia knelt numbly on the ground. She didn't notice the cramping in her lower abdomen. She only felt that her body was getting heavier. She then fell into a pool of blood. Screams were coming on and on….
