Karina’s POV
“I love you Karina.”
I read the words written in a small paper Ethan posted on the pillow beside me. It should have been the icing on the cake, a cherry on top and strawberries on wine. It would be perfect. How I wished those words were the ones written on the paper but instead, Ethan wrote, ‘See you later Love’.
I am not complaining in fact I am already overwhelmed by my husband’s sweetness. He seemed to have forgiven my deceptions and lies. I’m more than happy for that. There’s nothing else I could hope for except to hear those words again. He said it to me a hundred times already.
