Episode 1 : A new dawn Aria stretched as she opened her eyes , sitting up , she felt this inner happiness, why won't she be happy when she was finally achieving her dreams , putting on her slippers she stared at her rugged figure in the mirror " I'm such a mess " she murmured to herself as she tied her velvet hair into a messy bun " perfect " she smiled as she stepped out of the room , her meeting with sky hill company was today , and she couldn't wait to get a contract signed with them " morning miss " Omar the chef greeted " morning Omar " she replied as she headed for the door , just as she thought her nana was outside "morning nana " aria placed a peg on her nana's cheek " morning sunshine , how was your night " Nana asked " as pretty as my nana is " aria smiled as she sat next to her " you ain't ever going to stop flattering me are you ? Nana was cut short " please don't talk about her " aria said as she stood up " I know she's sorry " Nana said " someone that's living her best life yet in New York" aria replied " she and her Korean husband are happy nana , she never wanted or needed me , she won't now " aria added tears in her eyes " I'm sorry baby " Nana hugged her tight , everything flashed through her eyes as though it happened yesterday... Few years back " mom, cam I tell you something " Vivian's voice broke down " Betty looked up at her " what's that " she asked " mom I ... think ... " Vivian was sobbing " you think ?? " Betty's voice broke down , she already knew what her daughter would say " I'm pregnant mom , I'm sorry " Vivian was on her knees " I told him I didn't want to but"Vivian was cut short by a slap from her mom who was crying too " I warned you about that bastard you were hanging out with , but did you listen " Betty was also sobbing " I'm sorry mom, I really am " Vivian begged her mom , Betty left her in the living room as she entered her room and locked the door , after years of giving her all to shaping her daughter's life , is this what she got , a pregnant 16 year old !!! , the whole scenario devastated and broke her down , she didn't want to see her daughter anymore , after hours of crying she stepped out of her room , but Vivian wasn't there anymore , panicked she searched everywhere for her but couldn't find her , and she never did till months later , a basket was dropped at her door step with a bouncing baby girl , a replica of her Vivian , she asked the neighbors if they had seen anyone around her house but no one did saw anyone , beneath the baby was a short note " I'm sorry " Vivian.. * * * Aria was elegantly dressed in black and white casual outfit , her red hair styled in a chignon , she was an undeniable beauty and it complemented her caramel skin , she confidently marched down the stairs as she headed outside " as always " her Nana smiled at her " oh nana " aria smiled back as she pegged her goodbye before heading for her packed car , stepping in she zoomed off to work . * * * " morning ma'am" everyone in the reception greeted as aria headed to her office , everyone stared as she walked by , she was drop dead gorgeous and very confident , her company was still growing cause, it hadn't been long since it was founded, " morning miss " someone said behind her " thought you'll miss work today " she snapped without even looking back " not at all " Alex replied meeting up with her as they entered the elevator , soon enough they were in her office " what the f**k " Alex exclaimed just to receive a stare from her " move them to your office, and do your work " aria said Alex was still staring at the hip of files that were staring at him " quick " aria sat as she wheeled her chair staring at the big asthetic view of California " beautiful " she muttered to herself , she loved staring at the view , sometimes dark and cozy , other times sunny , rainy or a normal cloudy day , all suited her perfectly fine , she checked. the clock on the wall , in a few hours her life was going to take a new step , just the thought of it made her happy she smiled as the clock ticked by...
