Chapter 7Albus didn’t know how long he sat watching over Zale, but after what could’ve been an hour or a lifetime, he let go of his hand and picked up the shards on the floor. The cut on his foot was sealed and would be mostly healed in the morning. He got ready for bed. He’d installed a wall between the bathroom and the pool, which meant it was tiny, but he didn’t want to lounge in the water and look out over the toilet and sink. He didn’t spend more time in here than he needed to anyway, so it didn’t matter if it was a little cramped. Despite being a tiny room, he’d put in two doors.
