Chapter 8Albus cringed. He didn’t want to show Zale his pigment-less skin and hideous red eyes. He wanted to marvel over having a mate who was alive, but Zale didn’t know they were mated, and Albus wanted to explain it about as little as he wanted to change. No one had seen him in full dragon form in over a hundred years, or Zale had when he’d walked in, but it was so brief it hardly counted. “Why don’t you want to show me?” A small crease appeared between Zale’s brows. “Is it sacred or something?
