Chapter Eight

'Who else would it be?' He said He sounded a little less angry. I looked at Demi. I had no idea what to say. I kept opening and closing my mouth, Nothing was coming out. 'You gonna speak?' All the anger in his voice had gone and he sounded happy.

'Well..' My voice cracked. I had to cough quickily to clear my throat before continuing. 'It's an unknown number so, it could have been anyone'. I heard a small chuckle. 'Hey Tom, How did you know I was here?' I asked.

'Lee told me. You still with Aaron?' He asked.

'Yes, Is that ok' I asked. For some reason, I felt like I had to have his permission to be here.

'You have the right to be.' He told me. I heard someone call him in the background. 'I have to go, But I need to talk to you, Later. Lee said you will be around to see the babies. We will all be around. See you later' He hung up before I could answer. Demi was just looking at me. I put the phone away.

'What was that about?' She asked.

'I think Tom and the guys are going to find out about AJ a lot sooner than I thought.' I told her. Her mouth dropped open.

'Then why are you smiling?' she asked confused. I hadn't realised my smile was wide on my face.

'Because he doesn't sound mad at me' I told her. 'And he wants to talk.'

'What about'

'I dont know'

'Well, let's go get AJ and James And you can come to mine. I want you to see the babies' She said with a happy tone. I nodded and stood up.

'Bye Aaron, I'll come and see you soon' I told him... We walked back down to the gates. I stopped dead when I saw a familiar car.

'Oh god,' I whispered to myself. Liam got out and walked over to Demi. He hugged and kissed her. The door opened and Tom got out of the car and came towards me.

'Wow, Dont we look different' He said with a smirk. 'No snakebites' He noted. I smiled and nodded.

'You're one to talk. You cut your hair' I said. He smiled. 'Looks nice' I told him. He opened his arms and I ran straight over into them. He wrapped them around me. I've missed this and I have missed him.

'We need to talk' He told me. I nodded. 'Hey Lee, Me and Kate are gonna go and talk. See you later.' He shouted over my shoulder. Lee was getting into a black car. I guess that's Demi's He nodded.

'Ok dude' He shut the door and drove off with Dem. Bri grabbed my hand and lead me to the car. I got in, So did he and he headed towards the beach. the car ride was quiet.

'So, How have you been?' He asked, Breaking the silence.

'Ummm...Well, Alots changed' I told him as we pulled into the carpark of the old woods. It was where we used to come .. it was our special place. Getting out the car, He grabbed my hand as we started walking.

'It's ok, I know about you and James' He admitted. I stopped and turned to look at him.

'What?'

'I know you and James are living together and stuff, It upsets me a little, But even after so long, I guess I can't do anything about it though, Can I?' He asked. I shock my head.

'No' told him. He looked at me. I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair. 'I really like your hair, It looks really nice Tom' He grabbed my hand and locked our fingers together. We walked further into the woods to a more quiet spot.

Noone was around. I walked over an empty patch of grass and sat down. I looked up at Tom, he smiled and joined me.

'So, Go on then' Tom suddenly said. I looked up at him in confusion.

'What?' I asked.

'You said a lot has happened. What?' He asked with a smile. I took a deep breath.

'Well, Im still not speaking to my parents. I told them I was pregnant-'

'Wait, As in you went home pregnant or was as in were..past tense?'' I didn't answer the question.

'I live over in In LA now With James as you know and Ummm... Well, There's something you should know.' I looked down. I started messing with the bottom of my shirt. My stomach started hurting. it was the nerves.

'What?' He asked sweetly

'Well, I have a s-' I was cut off.

'TOM!' Someone shouted. We turned around and saw Demi, Ollie, Liam and...Mike walking towards us.

'How do they know about our place?' I questioned. He quickily explained that he comes here often with them as Demi ran over and jumped down on the grass with us.

So much for privacy.

I took my phone out and sent a quick text to James, telling him where I was.

'Did you tell him' She whispered in my ear. I looked over at Tom and shook my head. He was watching his friends coming over to us. I turned back to Demi and smiled sadly as all the guys sat down with us.

'Hey Ollie' I smiled. He just looked at me. I looked at Mike. 'Hey Mikey' He just looked at me too. I guess they still hate me. But just then, Mike and Ollie both smiled widely at me.

'Hey, Kate!' Ollie said. He leaned over and hugged me. Mike leaned over and did too but placed a small kiss on my cheek.

'Hey, baby girl' He used my old nickname. 'We have missed you so much' He told me.

'Some more than others' Ollie suddenly said. Everyone seemed to look up at Tom.

We all started talking about what we had been getting up to in the past few years and the album the guys would be touring soon.

We were still talking hours later, but my phone started ringing in my pocket, cutting through the conversation. I took it out, It was James.

'Hey whats up' I asked. He chuckled down the phone.

'We see you' He said. I looked up and saw AJ running across the field. James was walking behind him. I hung up and put my phone way. I sighed.

'Ok guys, There's someone you should all meet.' I told them, standing up. Demi stood up and came to stand next to me. I nodded at her and she smiled.

'Mommy!' AJ screamed. He ran past Mike and Ollie and straight up to me. I picked him up and gave him a kiss. I rested him on my hip. I looked at the guys, They all stared, Wide-eyed, James was at our circle now. Tom stood up and looked between me, Him and AJ.

'Guys this is my son' I told them, They still had there mouths hanging open. Demi stood up.

'Hey AJ, You are a big boy now' She said, Holding her arms out to him, Which he jumped in too. He smiled his little dimpled smile.

'Aunty Demi!' He squeezed and kissed her cheek. The giggle. Man, That kid is easy to love. James walked around to stand next to me.

'Hey guys' He tried to be nice, but he knew none of them liked him.

'That's your son?' Mike asked. I nodded. 'And you knew about this' He asked Demi, She nodded too.

'Yes and so did Aaron' She told them.

'Is he the dad' Tom asked harshly. Giving James a death glare.

'Uncle James, Can I have an ice cream now' AJ asked. James took him off Demi and put him on his back. AJ loved it when he gave him piggy-back-rides.

'Sure little guy, But asked mommy first.' He told him. AJ turned to me...

'Please mommy?' He begged. I smiled and nodded.

'OK, But stay with Uncle James OK baby' I told him. He nodded and the pair left, heading back to the food hut. I turned back around to the group.

'So, Who's the dad' Liam asked. I took in a deep breath.

'Well... people assume its Tom but-'

'What do you mean everyone assumes it's me, What are you going to tell me its Mike?! 'Tom asked, Cutting me off. I ignored his interruptions and kept going.

'WHAT THE f**k! HOW CAN IT BE MIKE!!!!!' Ollie suddenly shouted......
