Chapter Six

The car ride from the airport to our hotel was completely silent. I was too worried to talk, AJ was to busy playing with toys to talk and James.. well I think he just guessed I wasn't in the mood for a conversation.
Pulling into the carpark, He shut off the engine and turned to look at me.
Oh god, Im really here.
'Ok, Where here, So, What do you wanna do now?' James asked.
'I really dont know, Can you give me like, A couple of hours before I set off World War 3' I asked. Only half-joking. He looked at me.
'Why World War 3?' He asked confused.
'Because, Nothing personal, but Tom f*****g hates me and you and when he finds out were back in town, especially with AJ, he's gonna lose it' I told him. I never really spoke about why me and Tom broke up, So James doesn't know I slept with Michael.
'Babe, He used to love you so much. Even I could see that. Why does he hate you now?' He asked. I took in a deep breath and looked at him.
'Because I cheated on him. That's why we broke up.' I told him. He just looked at me, Wide-eyed.
'YOU cheated on HIM. Why? With who?' He asked.
'Yes, I did. with Mike. Because me and Mike liked each other and one night I was really sad because...Well because of something and I slept with him' I admitted. James didn't say anything he turned around to look at AJ.
'So, Is there a chance AJ is Mikes?' he asked. I shook my head.
'No' I told him.
'How can you be so sure?' He said. I didn't answer him. I knew who his father was, I didn't need to answer to anyone else about it. Sure, I didn't do a DNA test, how could I, They all lived in a different country.. but, I KNOW who his dad is... and that's all that matters.
I turned to look at AJ in the car seat again, My mind ran back to that night...
'I Know'. I whispered to myself.
'What?' James asked in confusion. I shook my head and turned around to look at the front window. He turned back around to stare at me.
'Are you ok?' He asked concerned. I just looked right out of the window.
'Yes, I'm fine' I snapped at him as I opened the door and got out, Slamming it loudly behind me. I leaned against the car door and looked up to the sky.
'Aaron, I need you, Why did you have to go?' I whispered. Tears started falling down my face. James appeared next to me.
'I'm sorry.' I nodded and turned to hug him. 'Are you okay?' He asked. I really wasn't.
'Im-' I was cut off by AJ screaming. I ran to the door and picked him up out of his car seat.
'Hey, Baby boy shhhhh' I tried to calm him down. 'Whats wrong?' I started to bounce him. James came and stood next to me.
'Hey little buddy' He said. AJ stopped crying and put his arms out to James. I past him over to James and he gave him a hug.
'I thought you were leaving me' He told us.
'Hey, that will never happen, Ok?' James told him. AJ nodded and hugged up to him. He past him back over to me and grabbed the begs. We walked into the hotel and up to the help desk.
'Reservation for Bradley please' He told the lady behind the desk. She typed in some stuff and smiled up at him.
'Ok, Here are the keys to your suite, I hope you enjoy your stay Mr and Mrs Bradley' she smiled and turned back to her computer.
'Come along Mrs Bradley' James joked. I smiled at him and followed him to the lift.
We walked into the room and I put AJ down, he ran straight over to the window.
'Mommy look, Pretty' He started pointing out the window at the views. I walked over to him and got down on my knees.
'Yeah, I know baby' I told him.
'You used to live here mommy?' He asked. I nodded. 'Why?' I smiled.
'Well, Mommy, Nanny and Grandad fell out so your daddy and Uncles brought me and aunty Demi here to live with them.' I told him. Now, I think you should go and get some sleep dont you' I asked. He pouted but walked over to one of the bedrooms. I smiled and followed him he tried to get up onto the bed but he was too small. I picked him up and put him into the bed and tucked him up.
'Ok, listen to me baby, Im going to go out for a while to sort some stuff out, Uncle James will be here, If you have any problems just call him ok.' I told him. He smiled his cute little dimpled smile.
'Ok mommy' Awww...He's such a good boy. I love him SO much.
'Good boy.' I kissed his forehead and he closed his eyes and started to fall asleep. I walked out of the room again and closed the door a little. James was sitting on the sofa, Flipping through the channels.
'Nothing good on TV Mr.Bradley?' I asked. He shook his head. I'm gonna pop out can you look after AJ for me, I just wanna...Go to, Ummm....see Aaron' I admitted.
'Yes, Sure babe, Go' He told me nicely. I walked over to him.
'Thanks babe' I kissed him on the lips and grabbed my jacket. 'Bye'
'Bye' He kissed me again. I walked out of the door and closed it. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called an old friend.
'Hello?' A voice on the other end answered.
'Hey, Guess who's in town' I asked. I could hear talking in the background.
'No way, KATIE. How are you? Why are you in town?' They asked on the other end.
'I need to talk to you about something, Can we meet up.' I asked.
'Yeah, sure, Where?'
'The Cemetery.'
'Aaron?'
'Yes'
'Of course, See you in 30 minutes'
'Ok, I've missed you' I told them down the phone.
'I've missed you too......We all have'
'See you soon'
'Bye' They hung up the phone. I walked down to the lobby and called a taxi. When it arrived I got in.
'Where too?' The driver asked. I told him the address and sat back as he drove off, Away from the hotel.
