Chapter 9 : Victory And Expectations

It’s been over two years of peace and stability in the kingdom, until now that a Southern king has raised all the southern armies to attack the Northern Empire in search for the minerals and riches of Ifeoma, one of King Jabari’s kingdoms.

Jabari stood tall on the battlefield, his armor gleaming in the sunlight as his men cheered him on. The war had been ongoing for months now, but with the king's leadership, they were gaining ground. His strategic mind and bravery had led them to victory after victory, and his men admired and worshiped him like a god for it.

King Jabari was victorious. The southern king retreated with his army and fled the north running for their lives back to the south.

"My love, words cannot express how happy I am right now," he said, taking her hand in his. "Our child will bring great joy, unity and prosperity to our kingdom." He kissed her on the forehead.

Ayanna smiled, her eyes shining with happiness.

"I know, my king. I'm excited to meet our little one." The king's attendants brought in a celebratory feast, and the palace was filled with music and laughter.

The people rejoiced at the news of the queen's pregnancy, knowing that an heir would secure the future of their kingdom. Jabari and Ayanna’s love had brought them victory in war and would now bring them the joy of parenthood.

As the months passed, the king continued to rule the north as a fair and just king, while Queen Ayanna prepared for the arrival of their child.

Minerals were mined, weapons were forged, trade posts flourished. The Northern Empire became one of the richest empires in the world. The kingdom prospered under their rule, and the and their love for each other only grew stronger. The stage was set for a bright future, with the king, queen, and their unborn child at the helm.
