Chapter 1
Raina’s pov
I am Raina Williams I am a 16 year old werewolf. I am kinda a nerd of sorts which causes me to be ignored most of the time. I am about six feet tall, brown eyes, and I’m a little curvy in places. What I mean by I’m a little bit of a nerd is I wear glasses and I always have my nose stuck in a book. I don’t like to party or show off my body like most of the other she wolves in our pack. I’m part of the number one pack in North America it’s known as the Green-Day pack.
I am hoping to find my mate soon so that I can leave this pack and find some peace away from my horrible past. You see when I was young my parents died in a rough attack. My father was the beta and my mother was a female warrior. They both died saving me from the roughs. Nobody blames me but I blame myself every day for their deaths. So living her in this pack is a constant reminder of them and their deaths.
I hope that my mate is a wolf from another pack then I will be able to leave here with him and move to his pack. The only things I’ll miss if I leave are my brother and friends. My brother Rain is next in line to be beta of this pack and his best friend is going to be alpha. They have been away for the last five years training to take their positions when they return. Which that happens to be tomorrow. I am beyond excited to see my brother again it’s been far to long. We do talk and text but he is usually really busy with training and stuff of that nature. I can’t wait for tomorrow.
Luke’s pov
I can’t wait to return home tomorrow. I have been away from my pack for the last five years training for my alpha position along with my best friend and beta. We both are beyond excited to return to the pack and begin out duties. Although I think my beta wants to see his little sister more then anything. I don’t have any siblings so I can’t understand his connection to her but I knows she means the world to him. After their parents died to protect her he became even more protective of her. I hope that one day I know how it feels to be protective of someone in that loving kind of way but I hope it’s not for at least a few years from now.
I guess you can say I want time to get used to being alpha before I have to take care of a mate. Not that I would ever reject my mate I just want time to fill independent and take care of my pack first. We never know what the moon goddess has in store for us but she does. I only take it one day at a time or that’s what my mother says to do anyways. “What are you doing man we need to be packing?” Rain asks as he walks into our room. “I’m all packed dude what’re you doing?” I ask as I watch him slam all his belongings in a duffle. “Done” he says as he turns to face me and I can’t help but shake my head at him. “We leave at 5 am in the morning we should be home at 7 pm.” I say as he looks at his phone. “Okay. I’m letting Raina know so that she can meet me at the pack house around seven.” He says. “Okay. But maybe you should take time out of your protective brother role and get some sleep tonight.” I say as he looks at me with a glare. “I am not that bad. She is my little sister the only one I have she needs to be protected at all cost and you of all people know why.” He says to me.
