I’m dead, I’m dead
Words I kept saying on my mind, i slowly heard some noise around me. I slowly opened my eyes a little what I saw was bright light, there were busy people beside me running together at the side, I was lying down and an oxygen mask was on my face
"Hang on sir" the nurse said I looked at him and tried to speak slowly
“Wh-Where’s the kid?”
“Sir we need you to get into operating room, we will do our best.” I immediately at looked the far corner at my side, I saw Tyson who is also wearing a mask like mine, he was also bleeding like me, I tried to reach his hand but we suddenly parted ways, I followed him with my gaze until he disappeared from my sight.
“Don’t you dare die” slowly I felt tired and sleepy and everything went dark

"aish, don't even think about it."
We are still here at the venue where the event was held, we are still waiting for Aldren and Amanda's friend. The catering services have been already cleaned, they are supposed to be here before midnight but it’s been past midnight and still not here. Im sitting here in a high stool at the bar counter inside, I hate what I'm thinking right now and I'm nervous
"Hey? what are you doing? You’re slapping your face, you look crazy" lance saw me that I slapped myself slowly in the face while ago, I thought he would just let it go but he smacked me in the head for slapping my face.
“Hey! The way you smacked me in the head is way bit more painful, than slapping myself earlier!”
“You’re welcome” he drops the ice box that he’s been carrying and grabs his ice cream inside, he sat down beside me and ate his ice cream, I was staring at him blankly while he’s busy in trying his best to drool over a cup of ice cream on his hand.
“Aren't you worried about your friend?” he slowly faces at me eating his ice cream “Worried on where he is right now?”
“Of course, I am worried! what are you talking about?”
“You look as if you are not worried about him, have you ever wondered what happened to him? To your friend?” he puts his ice cream at the table and sighed heavily in front of me, he took a deep breath and starts talking
“Hey, stop it.” He said calmly and leans a little closer to me but not to close
“Stop what? I’m just saying’
“You should stop thinking about those, those negative thoughts on your head, negative thoughts like what might happened to him, like that, like this, okay? Stop it”
“Why should i?”
“Cause you’re making it worse, stop thinking about those. You are making me more worried than you, okay?” he said raising a bit of his voice at me enough for me to hear what he said and he leans back at the bar counter table and sighed
“you look like you’re not- “
“Can I just- Can I just enjoy my dessert, for a while not thinking those?” he sighed and he grabs his ice cream and looked at me a little bit mad
“Okay? It’s your fault” he choked on his dessert and faced at me confused
“My what-what?”
“If you hadn't scared me with the reaction of your eyes while ago, I wouldn’t be thinking those things about Aldren.”"
"Huh? why are you blaming me? You know what?” he stood up and shoves the box to me “Instead of thinking those, why don’t you help me carry this inside, instead of just sitting there"
“Aish, you little- “
“Hey, both of you. Stop messing each other already!” auntie said, I looked at Lance and gave me a mocking face. I saw one of the maids, holding a phone with worried face and gave it to auntie, and answers it. I didn’t mind it at first until I heard her raising her voice in shock.
“Yes, I’m her mother” she said as she looked at me teary eyed, and she continued to answer the phone calming herself for a little
“I don’t like that look that she gave me.” I said while still looking at her direction
"Crystal?" startled, I immediately looked behind me and saw Amanda being guided by one of the maids and left her with us,
“Amanda?”
“You’re right, seems like bad news, if its bad news Amanda should not know about this- “lance looked at his side and saw Amanda standing at his left side also startled
“H-how long have you been here?”
"Why? What bad news?” she asked confused on what he heard from lance, “Is it about my brother, what happened to Aldren?" I looked at her seeing her face worried and confused, felt bad.
“Amanda, were not sure about it. But I think Aldren had- “
"Lance! Take us to the hospital” her mother cut me off when I was about to explain “We're going to see Aldren, Crystal come with us, Amanda can come if you want"
"At the hospital? But why? what happened to him?" Lance did not answer and left immediately, following Amanda’s mother towards his car, I held Amanda’s arm to guide her but she stopped me, holding my arms tightly
"Crystal? What happened? Why aren't they answering, and you?!"
"I don't know, but I think Aldren got into accident.”
