CHAPTER THIRTY
~ASH~
I leaned against the wall, the door creaking open just enough for me to see her approaching. Her footsteps were light, hesitant. I recognized the rhythm.
As she drew near, I pushed the door open and grasped her wrist, pulling her inside. Her eyes widened in surprise.
"What the—"
Her words trailed off as our gazes met. "Ash," she breathed, her voice barely audible. I pinned her to the wall, my face inches from hers. Her eyes locked onto mine, pupils dilating.
"Hey," I whispered, my lips grazing her neck.
Her eyelids fluttered closed as I traced kisses along her skin. A soft moan escaped her lips. "Ash..."
Her voice trembled. I nuzzled her ear, my tongue dancing along the curve. She shivered. "We can't...someone might..."
