~ALLISON’S POV~ I stood outside Cara’s house, staring up at the grand estate like it held all the answers I needed. Which, obviously, it didn’t. My grip tightened around my sleeping bag as I exhaled. I had told Klein to leave me alone earlier, not because it was his fault Devon was a monster, but because—God—I just needed a second to breathe.
